Germany and Austria require these details on a commercial site (Impressum), and several other EU states require equivalent operator identification. They are mandatory for this audience, not optional.

How entries are verified

A service is described only from what was observed on its own site, and each record carries the date it was checked. Prices, free tiers and features that have not been checked by hand are published as not verified — never as an estimate and never as a guess. Several services in this category publish no price at all outside their own checkout, and the comparison says exactly that.

Seasonal services open and close. A price correct in November may be wrong in January, and a programme that ran last year may not run this one. Check the date on the entry.

Cultural information

Gift-bringers, dates and local names are described as they are commonly observed. Customs vary by region, community and family — Germany alone splits between the Weihnachtsmann and the Christkind, and several countries have shifted dates in recent years. Nothing here is a ruling on how anyone ought to celebrate.

If an entry about your service is wrong or out of date, write to the address above and it will be corrected or removed. That applies whether or not there is any commercial relationship. If we got a local tradition wrong, the same address works — that is the part most likely to need fixing.
